TERMS & CONDITIONS – NEMOBOATS.GR

 

1. General Terms

By renting a boat from Nemoboats.gr, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. These terms ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all renters while protecting both parties from potential liabilities.

 

2. Boat Rental & Passenger Limit

• The maximum number of passengers allowed on each boat depends on the boat type and is strictly regulated for safety reasons.

• It is the renter’s responsibility to adhere to the assigned passenger limit. Exceeding the limit is strictly prohibited and may result in penalties.

 

3. Condition & Maintenance of Boats

• All boats and engines are brand new, well-maintained, and fully serviced before each rental to ensure safety and performance.

• The renter must check the boat and its equipment upon receipt and confirm its good condition before departure.

• Any issues with the boat or equipment must be reported immediately before leaving the dock.

 

4. Liability & Damages

• Nemoboats.gr is not responsible for any mechanical failure or other issues caused by misuse, negligence, or improper handling of the boat by the renter.

• The renter is fully responsible for any damage caused to the boat, engine, or equipment due to improper use.

• In case of loss or theft of equipment, the renter must cover the full replacement cost.

• The renter assumes full responsibility for returning the boat in the same condition it was received.

 

5. Fuel Policy

• Each boat is delivered with a full tank of fuel.

• The cost of fuel is NOT included in the rental price and is the sole responsibility of the renter.

• The renter must cover the cost of the fuel he will spend, the amount will be paid to us.

 

6. Insurance Coverage & Limitations

• All boats are insured for Third Party Liability, covering damages caused to third parties.

• The insurance does NOT cover:

  • Personal injuries of the renter/operator.

  • Loss or damage of personal belongings of any passengers.

  • Damage to the boat due to negligence or improper handling.

• In case of an accident, the renter must immediately inform Nemoboats.gr and the local port authorities.

 

7. Rental Duration & Extensions

• Rentals are available for a single day or multiple days.

• Multi-day rentals must be requested in advance and are subject to availability.

• The boat must be returned at the agreed time. Late returns may result in additional charges.

 

8. License Requirements & Navigation Rules

• No speedboat operator’s license is required to rent our boats.

• The renter must follow all Greek maritime regulations and respect navigation rules.

• Reckless driving, excessive speed near the shore, or any unsafe behavior is strictly prohibited.

• The boat must not be used under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

 

9. Safety Equipment & Responsibilities

• The rental price includes all required safety and emergency equipment, such as:

  • Life jackets

  • Fire extinguisher

  • First aid kit

  • GPS system

  • Ice cooler

  • Swim ladder

• The renter is responsible for ensuring that all passengers comply with safety rules.

• The boat must be anchored securely before anyone swims.

 

10. Emergency Procedures

• In case of emergency, the renter must:

  1. Stay calm and ensure all passengers wear life jackets.

  2. Contact Nemoboats.gr or the Greek Coast Guard (tel. 108) immediately.

  3. Use the safety ring if a passenger falls overboard.

  4. Never abandon the boat unless there is an immediate danger.

 

11. Cancellations & Refund Policy

• Cancellations made 48+ hours in advance will receive a full refund.

• Cancellations made within 48 hours are subject to a 50% fee.

• No-shows or last-minute cancellations (on the same day) are non-refundable.

• If the rental is canceled due to severe weather conditions, a reschedule or full refund will be provided.

 

12. Acceptance of Terms

By proceeding with the rental, the renter acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. Nemoboats.gr reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice.
